My
Tio Isaac...
He
was a great man! He was a man that was funny and caring
and very family oriented. I can remember many nights sleeping
over with my cousins. I always loved being in their home.
I felt safe and I felt love and I felt family. I can remember
my Tio always watching sports with my cousins Andy and
Freddy. Me and my cousins (the girls) use to get upset
because they would hog the TV on their sports days.
I
remember my Tio Isaac was a funny man. He loved cartoons
and would copy bugs bunny and make us laugh. He was a
good father and I don't even remember him getting mad
at all. He treated my Tia like a queen that she deserved.
They were both such a nice and loving couple. They had
fun together. I remember they would go out on the weekend
and come home laughing and you know they had a good time.
I
can still look back and smile and remember my Tio always
kept his boots clean and you didn't even think twice about
touching his sun glasses. He wouldn't get mad if you did,
he would just joke around and tell you don't touch them
and smile. My Tio was a family man. Always playing with
his children in the back yard (Volley Ball) and games.
One
thing I remember too is that my Tio Isaac always took
good care of his teeth. Always was rinsing and kept his
tooth brush by the kitchen sink and would brush right
after he ate. He had a beautiful smile and I know he still
has that smile, the ony difference now is that Jesus is
sharing it with him and we get the beautiful memories.
God
took Tio Isaac from us but his memories will live in our
hearts forever. He was a great man and there should be
more men like him. He was married to one woman (My Tia
Franie) for over 50 years. That should tell you what kind
of man he was. I know all my cousins and familia are hurting
right now and we may be far from you all, but we are mourning
our Tio too, and we know one day we all will see one another
again.
May
God help you all to find comfort in his Peace and help
you to keep the memories alive in your hearts and one
day you will think about your Dad and smile, but until
then just know that I am sharing your tears with you.
I
love you all. Your Cousin Marina in Modesto. I wish I
were there with you all.
God
be with all of us and grant us peace and love for one
another.
Your
Cousins: Marina
& Ruben Franco - Javi (Dave), Tury, Ruben Jr. and
lil Emma Castillo - December 13, 2007
